Today's excuse to procrastinate... FML
Last Tuesday UWS had an open day at the Kingswood's Campus and Year 11s from different parts of the state came to learn about the courses provided in the uni. None of the courses they offer on the day interested me so I picked what my friends were doing. Wasn't a bad idea afterall=)
Each session went for 40 minutes and we had 4 sessions to go to.
Courses I picked were (in order):
- Welcome to the School of Nursing and Midwifery
Blue Zone ROOM 7 @ 10:10am - 10:50am
- How Psychologists study the paranormal
Blue Zone ROOM 3 @ 11:00am - 11:40am
- Student Exchange
Pink Zone ROOM 1
- Application for Medicine
Blue Zone ROOM 5
Welcome to the School of Nursing and Midwifery: Poorly planned was wasn't informative at all. Pretty much the only thing they provided was photos and names of the professors (?) who are part of the Midwifery course
How Psychologists study the paranormal: It was alright. Informative and the professor provided a variety of topics in that course
Student Exchange: Whoever was supposed to be in charge didn't even bother showing up. We were sitting in the auditorium doing nothing for half and hour, with no air conditioners T.T I was looking forward to this one =(
Application for Medicine: The best session out of the 4. Very informative, but extremely difficult to get that course T.T UAI/ATAR of 99.9, UMAT exam and an interview.. WDF ?! LOL

7 HSC days have gone and I still haven't honestly, I haven't even learnt my lesson on the dissaopointing marks I've been recieving in my preliminary exams. I should just give up now, shouldn't I? I hate this feeling of dissapointing everyone who has supported me throughout the year. What happened to all the motivation? Where has it gone? I want it back...
12 months. Just 12 months and it's all over. Will I be able survive and not run into the girls bathroom and cry my eyes out?
EDIT: It may be too late to say this for some people, but it's better late than never. I wish to those who are sitting for the HSC all the best and hope you all accomplish your goal of your desired UAI/ATAR. Do your best and you'll never know what you'll get=)
